Tri-Mer Inaugurates New Offices and Announces Merger

The Tri-Mer Group, a leading corporate service, tax advisory and audit provider on Malta, inaugurated their new offices in Mriehel, in the presence of Hon Silvio Schembri the Parliamentary Secretary for Financial Services, Digital Economy and Innovation on Friday the 2nd February.

The new, modern offices on Mdina Road, will be the new home of the Tri-Mer Group of companies setup in 2005 offering corporate, tax and audit solutions to both local and International clients. Tri-Mer is a member of BKR International, now ranked the Sixth largest international association in the world.

On the night it was also announced that Tri-Mer will merge with Falzon and Falzon, one of the historical audit firms in Malta. Godwin Falzon and Liz Gatt will become, as of March, directors on Tri-Mer Audit, joining Ray, Marco, Ian Mercieca and Matthew Borg. In his comments on the evening, Ray Mercieca, Tri-Mer’s founder announced the merger as an opportunity to go from strength to strength. The two firms coming together will create synergies that will enable Tri-Mer to service their clients better, widen the services offered and provide more quality and value added. The staff complement will increase to over 45.

Parliamentary Secretary for Financial Services, Digital Economy and Innovation Silvio Schembri congratulated Tri-Mer for what it had achieved, and what it had planned for the future and was sure that the company will be active as the financial services sector is set to write another chapter with the help of digitalisation. He described the inauguration of the new offices and the company future plans as a reflection of the sense of trust in the financial sector that is expected to grow.

Jacqueline Wolfovski BKR International Worldwide Chair, congratulated Tri-Mer on their new offices, on being a dynamic firm and taking the opportunities given by the vitality of Malta’s economy and the BKR network. She said she was proud and happy that Tri-Mer Services chose BKR International and that this was part of the success in the firm’s growth.
