The auditing and tax advisory firm Schiff-Martini & Cie. GmbH (Schiff-Martini) located in Frankfurt – Gateway Gardens has decided to expand its management by promoting three managers out of its own ranks – appointing Anita Bolkovac, Kirstin Neeser and Katja Scherpf as additional partners and managing directors of Schiff-Martini.
With a team of 70 employees, the firm primarily supports internationally operating foreign investors setting up subsidiaries in Germany. Currently, Schiff-Martini provides services to about 300 German subsidiaries of corporations from a total of 20 different countries. Over 75 % of those are headquartered in USA, UK and Japan.
The core of its advisory services is to support German subsidiaries of foreign investors with a complete package of services: from start-up consultancy covering the legal and tax structuring, accounting, payroll and compliance, tax advisory, M&A transaction consultancy, all the way through to support with cooperation partners in site identification, staff recruitment, notary services, legal and business management consultancy, plus insurance services, visas and work permits.
“Since moving to Frankfurt – Gateway Gardens, we’ve been experiencing healthy corporate growth,” explains Roland Schiff-Martini, founder and managing director of Schiff-Martini. “In order to keep pace with this growth, we have decided to expand our management. We are particularly delighted that our three new partners have been promoted from within the company.”
Anita Bolkovac is an auditor and tax advisor and responsible for Accounting Advisory Services. She has been with the firm since January 2011. Previously, she was managing director for an auditing company with the responsibility of setting up and expanding the auditing and audit-related consultancy division. She also held posts at the auditors Ernst & Young and the auditors and tax advisors Arthur Andersen, where she most recently spent several years as a manager and authorised signatory.
Kirstin Neeser is likewise an auditor and tax advisor, but responsible for Bookkeeping Services and has been with Schiff-Martini since May 2010. After her apprenticeship at a German tax office, she gained her initial work experience at KPMG, before she became responsible for her own client base as an authorised signatory at Dr. Dornbach Treuhand GmbH and as a Team Leader at the firm of Kunsmann + Gemmerich.
Katja Scherpf is a tax advisor and initially joined Schiff-Martini as a trainee to become a tax consultant in 1997. In 2000, she completed her apprenticeship and advanced her education by becoming a specialist tax consultant in 2005. Since April 2009, she has been a tax advisor and authorised signatory at Schiff-Martini. In addition to that, she has been responsible for setting up and managing the Real Estate Team.
Due to the firm’s development and a growing number of staff, Schiff-Martini will be moving into its new office in 2018. Also located in Gateway Gardens – in a specially erected building – the “Lindbergh Parkside Office”. Here, Schiff-Martini will be implementing its “inbound-house concept”. Together with cooperation partners, foreign investors will find a one stop service point. The concept is rounded off by an office centre operated by Schiff-Martini and a café with a view to the park. One particular advantage of the new building is that it offers room for new network partners or other future-focused enterprises.
