GIBO Groep and Flynth adviseurs en accountants BV are looking to merge on January 1st, 2011. The shareholders and counsels of advisors of both organisations have approved the necessary steps for the merger. This alliance will lead to the biggest accounting and advisory organisation in the Netherlands for SME’s and agricultural firms, with approximately 35,000 clients, 2,300 employees, 80 branches and an annual turnover of over 180 million euros.

Both organisations are widely regarded as being innovative, ambitious and solid. During the past two years, both GIBO Groep and Flynth have resisted the global recession with solid results and consistent growth in fees. Expectations are that the cooperation will lead to many synergy effects at a central level. The firms also share the same ambitions, goals and vision for the future. Together, Flynth and GIBO Groep will achieve their collective goals faster and in a more efficient manner. At branch level they complement each other perfectly.

GIBO Groep and Flynth share the same ambition to serve entrepreneurs and international clientele even better in the future by:
– working even more efficiently
– rendering a full array of comprehensive services
– providing an optimal quality of service through detailed specialisation
– extending their nationwide coverage.

Together, they aim to serve even more international clients!

To enforce these ambitions, during the coming years, both organisations will invest tens of millions of euros in realising their vision and in knowledge sharing. The cooperation will render huge synergy advantages regarding automation, expertise, marketing, personnel, administration and housing.

As Flynth is not currently a member of an international organisation, BKR International will render a magnificent extra dimension to serving their clients and, in turn, as a result of this merger, BKR’s presence throughout the Netherlands will increase exponentially !
