BKR International is proud to recruit Adebola Sobanjo & Co, with offices in Abuja, Lagos and Port-Harcourt, Nigeria.
The 2 partner firm employs some 45 personnel and was established over 30 years ago. Providing all major audit, accounting and tax services, the firm holds registrations with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria, and the Nigeria Institute for Training and Development.
Stephen Hamlet, BKR’s executive director responsible for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said:
“I am delighted to welcome such a strong, established, yet still growing and forward-thinking, firm into our membership and representation of Africa. Adebola Sobanjo is a well-respected firm in its country and its partners have been very active within the Nigerian Accounting and Taxation Institutes.
It has been well publicised that Nigeria is predicted to overtake South Africa as the continent’s largest economy, with a stable currency and inflation having been kept at a five-year low of under 8% towards the end of last year. With the potential development of increased foreign investment into the country, it was important for Adebola Sobanjo to join an international group; in as much as it was for BKR International to secure a solid member firm in Nigeria.”
