It is our great pleasure to inform you that the new branch of Acartus has been opened in Gdynia, the picturesquely located city on the Baltic Sea. Since its early beginnings Gdynia has had a sea-related economy. As the second seaport in Poland in terms of reloading and the main Polish passenger port as well, Gdynia is the seat of many companies from the maritime industry, such as: shipyards, enterprises associated with the operation of the port, shipping agencies, brokerage companies, transport and forwarding companies, and many others.
In the 1990s, in Gdynia, apart from the port and shipbuilding industry, the financial sector and modern technologies, including IT, began to develop and flourish. There are many headquarters of companies operating in the banking sector e.g. Nordea Bank SA and telecommunication and IT sectors such as: Polkomtel SA or Prokom Investments.
Along with the modern health resort of Sopot and Gdańsk, the capital of the Pomeranian region Gdynia forms a metropolitan area called Trójmiasto (the Tri-City). The transport accessibility in Gdynia is at a high level, there are numerous ways of travelling to and from the city, as there are a nearby airport, the above mentioned sea port or a road and motorway network as well.
Gdynia is considered one of the most business-friendly cities and the municipal authority provides various forms of business support for new investors.
In our new office six people are employed and they provide services mainly for commercial law companies. The office is located in the city centre at Świętojańska Street 3/1, 81-368 Gdynia, Poland.
